Hello Phil,

I know, Everhour doesn’t have all features you may think of, but we are constantly improving 🙂

Your idea sounds interesting, and I’d highly appreciate if you can email me a bit more details so that I better understand your process. Maybe we will add it soon 🙂

Hi there,

First Trello update is probably coming next week 🙂 We’ll still have what to do with reports and other stuff. but estimates and manual time reporting feature will be there.

Hey there,

Right now you can see “estimate | total time” values under Report by Task. Unfortunately had no time to update export functionality to include this values. Sorry.

And we also don’t have “total estimate” or “total remaining” time. Only inline values. But we will improve that 🙂

Another thing you have mentioned, which makes sense and we need to think about it, is the ability to export estimates for all tasks. As you know, current everhour reports doesn’t show tasks if there is zero time reported.

Ideally we can estimate all items and then provide a report to the client who can see total expected work.

Having this information in Everhour reports would be our first priority. Seeing the planned vs actual in Trello would be really useful but could perhaps come later for us.
We also like the planned timer dropdown in Trello.
Do you have any update on a release date?

to see reports on how my days are spent (eg. reports from 8 am to 5 pm
and not just hours spent). If you add this, and promise to develop
desktop and mobile apps soon (with offline mode preferibly), i just
might recommend your app for use in my office over other available apps.

Thanks for this great app!

A couple of comments.

For the extension:
1) We use Asana and quite often we use the subtasks feature of Asana. I think it would be great if you could estimate each subtask individually and then choose whether to estimate the parent task via “add up subtask estimates” or “estimate manually” or maybe even a “add xyz minutes/hours to addition of subtask estimates” feature.
2) The “Update estimate” feature is great! If I understand your screenshots above correctly, the user changes the total estimate, I think it would be even better if you ALSO had the option to “add XYF hours/minutes to existing estimate”.
3) In terms of seeing which people has contributed to the total tracked time on a task, I think it would be nice to be able to see it in Asana, e.g. by hovering the “total time tracked” number and hereby loading a little “tool tip box” with the numbers.

For the Everhour app:
a) In everhour reports, I would love to be able to create a report that listed all tasks related to a given project/tag/employee and have be able to see both the budgetted and tracked time for each individual task, and in total. Also, It would be quite important for me to be able to see Asana tasks in Everhour as soon as their is an estimate and perhaps no time tracked yet!
b) Further, since I also want to use this new feature it as budgetting tool for my employees (IT-developers), it would be pivotal, than when I add a estimate to a task in Asana and delegate it to one of my team members in Asana, the task an estimate is also delegated automatically to the corresponding user in Everhour, allowing me to create a timebudget for a project and allocate the hours to different employees (with different cost) and from Everhour I could see the numbers and create a cost budget in excel.

That’s it for now. I look forward to se the final result. Please do reach out to me if you have any questions!

Really hard to say. Finishing 2014 projects now and haven’t yet scheduled 2015.

Approximately I’d say in about 2 months
